Hadith 36:155

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr, from Yahya ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'd ibn Zurara, who said: The captives of Badr were brought, and Sawda bint Zam'a, the wife of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), was with the family of 'Afra' during their mourning for 'Awf and Mu'awwidh, the two sons of 'Afra', and that was before the hijab was imposed upon them. She said: The captives were brought, so I came to my house, and there I was with Suhayl ibn 'Amr in a corner of the room, his hands tied to his neck. When I saw him, I could not control myself, so I said: "O Abu Yazid, you have surrendered? Would that you had died honorably!" She said: By Allah, nothing alerted me except the saying of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) from inside the house: "O Sawda, [is it] against Allah and His Messenger?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I could not control myself when I saw Abu Yazid, so I said what I said."
