Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Yunus informed us, from Abu al-Safar, he said: The herald of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) called out on the day of Badr: "Whoever has captured Umm Hakim bint Haram, let him release her, for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) has granted her safety." A man from the Ansar had captured her and was holding her by her forelock. When he heard the herald of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), he released her.
