Shababa ibn Sawwar narrated to us, he said: Layth informed us, from Abu al-Zubayr, that a slave of Hatib ibn Abi Balta'a came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, complaining about Hatib. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, Hatib will surely enter the Fire." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "You have lied. He will not enter it, for he has witnessed Badr and al-Hudaybiyyah."
