Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:22

Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, from al-Hasan, who said: Allah sent the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, one time to cause a man to enter Paradise. He said: He passed by a synagogue of the synagogues of the Jews, and he entered upon them while they were reading their scroll. When they saw him, they closed the scroll and went out. In a corner of the synagogue was a man who was dying. He said: He came to him and said, "What prevented them [from staying] is that they were reading a description of a prophet, which is your description." Then he came to the scroll and opened it, then he read. He said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Take your brother." He said: So they washed him, shrouded him, applied embalming substances to him, and then he prayed over him.
