'Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, he said: Thabit informed us, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) took a sword on the day of Uhud and said: "Who will take this from me?" So they stretched out their hands, and every man among them began to say: "I, I." He said: "Who will take it by its right?" The people held back. Then Simak Abu Dujana said: "I will take it by its right." He said: So he took it and split with it the skulls of the polytheists.
