'Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from 'Abd Allah ibn al-Harith ibn Nawfal, that a man from the polytheists met the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on the day of Uhud, drawing his sword and walking. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, met him while walking and said: "I am the Prophet, there is no lie; I am the son of 'Abd al-Muttalib." He said: So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, struck him and killed him.
