Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isa bin Yunus narrated to us, from Ibn Awn, who said: I wrote to Nafi’ asking him about the supplication of the polytheists. He wrote back to me: Abdullah bin Umar informed me that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raided Banu al-Mustaliq while they were unaware and their livestock were being watered at the water source. Juwayriyah bint al-Harith was among those who were captured, and I was among the cavalry.
