Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:31

Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, he said: Abu Sakhra Jami‘ ibn Shaddad narrated to us, from Tariq al-Muharibi, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the market of Dhu al-Majaz while I was in a sale, selling something. He passed by wearing a red jubba (outer garment) of his, and he was calling out at the top of his voice: "O people, say 'There is no god but Allah' and you will succeed." A man was following him with stones, having caused his heels and his ankles to bleed, and he was saying: "O people, do not obey him, for he is a liar." I said: "Who is this?" They said: "This is the boy of Banu Abd al-Muttalib." I said: "And who is this who is following him, throwing stones at him?" They said: "His uncle, Abd al-Uzza, and he is Abu Lahab."
