Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:316

Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from ‘Urwah, from al-Miswar and Marwan, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) went out in the year of al-Hudaybiyyah with more than one thousand and some hundreds of his companions. When he was at Dhu al-Hulayfah, he garlanded the sacrificial animals, marked them, and entered into the state of Ihram.
