Abu Usama narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Jabir, who said: Al-Qasim and Makhul narrated to us, from Abu Umamah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade on the day of Khaybar the eating of the domestic donkey and every beast of prey having fangs. He also forbade that pregnant women be had intercourse with until they deliver, that the shares of booty be sold until they are divided, and that fruit be sold until its ripeness becomes apparent. On that day, he cursed the woman who adds hair extensions and the one who has it added, the woman who tattoos and the one who has it done, the woman who scratches her face, and the woman who tears her garment.
