Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:394

'Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Sa'id ibn Abi Hind, from Abu Murra, the freed slave of 'Aqil ibn Abi Talib, from Umm Hani bint Abi Talib, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) conquered Mecca, two men of my in-laws from Banu Makhzum fled to me. She said: So I hid them in my house. Then my brother, 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, entered upon me and said, "I will surely kill them." She said: So I locked the door upon them, then I came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) at the upper part of Mecca while he was washing in a large bowl in which there was a trace of dough, and his daughter Fatima was screening him. When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) finished his washing, he took a garment and wrapped himself in it, then he prayed eight rak'ahs of Duha (forenoon prayer). Then he turned and said, "Welcome and greetings, O Umm Hani, what brought you?" She said: I said, "O Prophet of Allah, two men of my in-laws fled to me, and 'Ali ibn Abi Talib entered upon me and claimed that he would kill them." He said, "No, we have granted protection to whom you have granted protection, O Umm Hani, and we have given security to whom you have given security."
