Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:42

Waki’ narrated to us, from Hammad bin Salamah, from Ali bin Zaid, from Anas bin Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "On the night I was taken on the Night Journey (Isra), I passed by a people whose lips were being cut with scissors of fire. I said: 'Who are these?' It was said: 'These are the preachers (or orators) from the people of the world, who used to command people to righteousness while forgetting themselves, even though they recited the Book. Do they not then use their reason?'"
