Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:442

'Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Maysarah, that when the news of the killing of Ja'far, Zayd, and 'Abd Allah ibn Rawahah was brought to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, he mentioned their affair and said: "O Allah, forgive Zayd," three times. "O Allah, forgive Ja'far and 'Abd Allah ibn Rawahah."
