Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Hammad informed us, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), when he returned from the expedition of Tabuk and drew near to Medina, said: "Indeed, there are people in Medina who, you did not travel any distance nor cross any valley, except that they were with you in it." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, even though they were in Medina?" He said: "Yes, the excuse detained them."
