Hushaym narrated to us, from al-‘Awwam, from Ibrahim al-Taymi, who said: When Abu Bakr was given the pledge of allegiance, he said: Salman said: You have erred and you have done right. As for if you had placed it in the household of your Prophet, you would have eaten from it in abundance.
