Hadith 36:73

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Yunus ibn Abi Ishaq narrated to us, from al-Mughirah ibn Shibl ibn ‘Awf, from Jarir ibn ‘Abd Allah, who said: When I drew near to Medina, I made my riding beast kneel, then I opened my saddlebag and put on my garment. Then I entered while the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was delivering the sermon, so I greeted the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and the people cast their eyes upon me. He said: So I said to one sitting next to me, "O servant of Allah, did the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) mention anything about my affair?" He said, "Yes, he mentioned you with the best of mentions." He said: While the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was delivering the sermon, he paused in his sermon and said, "There will enter upon you from this mountain pass—or from this door—one of the best of the people of Yemen; and indeed, upon his face is the trace of an angel." Jarir said: So I praised Allah for what He had bestowed upon me.
