Hadith 36:77
Affan narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, he said: I heard Al-Bara' saying: The first of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) who came to us were Mus'ab ibn Umayr and Ibn Umm Maktum. They began to teach the people the Quran. Then came Ammar, Bilal, and Sa'd. Then came Umar ibn al-Khattab with twenty riders. Then came the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He said: I have never seen the people of Medina rejoice over anything as they rejoiced over him. He said: And he did not arrive until I had recited "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" in the surahs of the Mufassal.
