Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:82

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sharik, from Ibrahim ibn Muhajir, from Mujahid, who said: Abu Bakr remained with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the cave for three [days].
