Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:1014

Dāwūd ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, he said: ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, from Ṣāliḥ ibn Muḥammad, from Zāʾidah, from Sālim ibn ʿAbd Allāh, from his father, from ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever you find to have committed ghulūl (stealing from the spoils of war), then burn his goods."
