Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:1123

Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, he said: Rafi‘ ibn Salamah al-Ashja‘i narrated to us, he said: Hashraj ibn Ziyad al-Ashja‘i narrated to me, from his grandmother, the mother of his father, that she went out on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) to Khaybar, as the sixth of six women. It reached the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), so he sent for us and said: "By whose command did you go out?" And we saw anger in him. We said: "O Messenger of Allah, we went out and with us is medicine that we treat with, and we hand out arrows, and we provide *sawiq* (barley drink), and we spin wool, helping with it in the way of Allah." He said to us: "Stay." Then, when Allah granted him victory over Khaybar, he divided for us just as he divided for the men.
