Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:12

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Sa'id informed us that al-Harith ibn Yazid al-Hadrami informed him that Abu Dharr asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for leadership. And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, you are weak, and it is a trust, and on the Day of Resurrection, it is a disgrace and a regret, except for the one who takes it by its right and fulfills what is upon him in it."
