Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:202

'Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Zakariyya, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Asim ibn Damra, who said: 'Alqama ibn Ghulana apostatized from his religion after the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so the Muslims fought him. He said: He refused to incline toward peace. Abu Bakr said: "Nothing will be accepted from you except a humiliating peace or an expelling war." He said: He asked, "And what is a humiliating peace?" He said: "That you testify regarding our slain that they are in Paradise, and that your slain are in the Fire, and that you pay blood money for our slain while we do not pay blood money for your slain." So they chose the humiliating peace.
