Hadith 28:215

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Isma’il bin Abi Khalid narrated to us, from Qays, who said: A man came to Ibn Mas’ud and said: "I passed by the mosque of Banu Hanifah and I heard their Imam reciting a recitation that Allah did not reveal to Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. I heard him saying: 'The grinders grinding, the kneaders kneading, the bakers baking, the crumb-makers making crumbs, and the swallowers swallowing.'" He said: So Abdullah sent [men] and they brought them—one hundred and seventy men—who were upon the religion of Musaylimah, their leader being Abdullah bin al-Nawwahah. He ordered him to be killed. Then he looked at the rest of them and said: "We are not the slaughterers of the Shaytan. As for the rest of the people, deport them to the Levant, perhaps Allah will afflict them with the plague."
