'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Jarir ibn Hazim, who said: 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz wrote regarding the inheritance of the apostate: It is for his heirs among the Muslims, and there is nothing for the people of his religion.
