Hadith 28:24

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Ja’far ibn Burqan narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Marzuq, from Maymun, from a man from ‘Abd al-Qays, who said: I saw Salman upon a donkey in a military expedition, and he was its commander, and his two legs were dangling, and the soldiers were saying: "The commander has come, the commander has come." He said: So Salman said: "Indeed, the good and the evil are in what is after today. So if you are able to eat from the dust and not be a commander over two men, then do so. And fear the supplication of the oppressed, for it is not veiled."
