Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Musa ibn Abi Kathir, who said: I asked Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib about the inheritance of the apostate: "Is it delivered if he is killed?" He said: "And what is to be delivered?" He said: "We inherit from them, and they do not inherit from us."
