Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:265

'Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from his father, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, regarding: "The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger." He said: If he goes out, terrifies the path, and takes wealth, his hand and his foot are cut off from opposite sides. If he terrifies the path but does not take wealth, he is banished. If he kills, he is killed. If he terrifies the path, takes wealth, and kills, he is crucified.
