Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:275

Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, who said: The fur garment, the socks, the boots, and the outer garments are to be removed from the slain person. Unless the socks are complete, in which case they are left upon him.
