Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Hisham bin Sa’d narrated to us, from Zayd bin Aslam, from his father, who said: I heard ‘Umar bin al-Khattab saying: "If I remain until next year, I will certainly join the last of the people with the first of them, and I will certainly make them one level."
