Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Jahhaf Dawud ibn Abi ‘Awf, from a man from Khath’am, who said: A child was born to me during the night, so I came to ‘Ali when it became morning, and he attached him [to his lineage] among one hundred.
