Waki’ narrated to us, he said: ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Ajlan al-Barjami narrated to us, from his grandmother, who said: ‘Ali used to distribute the lights (anwar) among us in small pouches; a pouch of cumin, and [a pouch of] seeds, and such and such.
