Hadith 28:38
Jarir narrated to us, from Qabus, from his father, who said: Salman was in charge of a collection of the collections of the Muhajirun. A man came to him with a collection that was with him and handed it over to him, then turned away. Then he returned to him and said: "O Salman, there was a tear in my garment, so I took a thread from this collection and mended it with it." He [Salman] said: "Everything, even its measure." He said: So the man came and unpicked the thread from his garment, then said: "I have no need of this."
حدثنا جرير عن قابوس عن أبيه قال كان سلمان على قبض من قبض المهاجرين فجاء إليه رجل بقبض كان معه فدفعه إليه ثم أدبر فرجع إليه فقال يا سلمان انه كان في ثوبي خرق فأخذت خيطا من هذا القبض فخطت به قال كل شيء وقدره قال فجاء الرجل فنشر الخيط من ثوبه ثم قال إني غني عن هذا
