Humaid ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Hasan, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, who said: If a person from the people of al-Sawad embraces Islam, then remains in his land, the kharaj (land tax) is taken from him. If he leaves it, the kharaj is not taken from him.
