Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:436

Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Hasan and Ibn Sirin, that they both disliked the selling of what increases (i.e., profit-based sales or speculative trading), except for the sale of inheritances and spoils of war.
