Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, who said: Ibn Suraqa narrated to me that Abu Ubayda ibn al-Jarrah wrote to the people of Dayr Tabaya: "I have granted you security for your lives, your wealth, and your churches, that they shall not be demolished."
