Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:529

Waki' narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Ghalib al-'Abdi, from a man from Banu Numayr, from his father, from his grandfather or his great-grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not fight the people until you invite them."
