Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Ikrimah ibn ‘Ammar al-Yamami, from Iyas ibn Salamah ibn al-Akwa’, from his father, who said: We went on a military expedition with Abu Bakr against Hawazin during the time of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. We came to a watering place belonging to Banu Fazarah and we camped there. When it was morning, we launched a raid upon them.
