'Affan and Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu 'Imran al-Jawni, from 'Alqamah ibn 'Abd Allah al-Muzani, from Ma'qil ibn Yasar, from al-Nu'man ibn Muqarrin, who said: I witnessed with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that when it was time for fighting, he would not fight at the beginning of the day, nor at its end, until the sun had passed its zenith, the winds had blown, and victory had descended.
