Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Muhammad bin Abdullah [al-Shu’aythi] narrated to us, from Khalid bin Ma’dan, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) allotted two shares for the horse and one share for the foot soldier.
