Muḥāḍir narrated to us, he said: Mujālid narrated to us, from ‘Āmir, who said: When Sa‘d ibn Abī Waqqāṣ conquered Jalūlā’, the Muslims obtained thirty million [dirhams/units of wealth]. He distributed to the horseman three thousand mithqāls, and to the foot soldier one thousand mithqāls.
