Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn ‘Abbas, and from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyib, from ‘Umar, who said: The slave has no share of the spoils of war.
