Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:810

Narrated to us Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman, from Abd al-Malik ibn Abi Sulayman, from Ata, regarding a group of people who are warriors, who are in a military detachment (sariyya), and they obtain skins of ghee, honey, and food. He said: They eat, and what remains, they return it to their leader.
