Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:82

Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from Husayn, from al-Sha’bi, from Suwayd ibn Ghafala, who said: We witnessed [the battle of] Yarmouk. He said: So Umar met us while we were wearing silk, and he commanded [it], so we were pelted with stones.
