Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:824

'Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Raja' ibn Haywah, from Qabisah ibn Dhu'ayb, who said: 'Umar said: "Whatever wealth of the Muslims the polytheists have seized, and then they (the Muslims) raided them afterwards and overcame them, and a man found his own property specifically, before the shares were distributed, then he is more entitled to it. But if it had been distributed, then he has no claim to anything."
