Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:833

Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujahid, who said: Whatever the Muslims obtain from what the enemy had previously obtained, if its owner finds it before it is divided, then he is more entitled to it. And if it is divided, then he is more entitled to it for its price.
