Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Aban ibn Abdullah al-Bajali narrated to us, he said: Uthman ibn Abi Hazim narrated to us, from Sakhr ibn al-Ayla, who said: I took the paternal aunt of al-Mughira and brought her to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Al-Mughira ibn Shu’ba came and asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for his paternal aunt, and informed him that she was with me. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, called me and said: "O Sakhr, when a people embrace Islam, they secure their wealth." He said: So we handed her over to him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had previously given me a water source belonging to Banu Sulaym. They embraced Islam and came to the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and asked him for the water. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "O Sakhr, when a people embrace Islam, they secure their wealth and their blood, so hand it over to them." So I handed it over to them.
