Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 28:951

Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Muslim, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, from Abdullah, who said: For the traveler, there are three days [of hospitality] upon whomever he passes by. Whatever exceeds that is charity, and every act of kindness is charity.
