Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 7:103

Hafs narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq and Abdullah ibn Sa'id, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id: A woman came to Abu Hurayrah and asked him about a son of a slave girl of hers who was born out of wedlock, and she had a slave [to free as an expiation]. She asked, "Does it suffice for her?" He said, "Yes."
