Waki’ narrated to us, from Mis’ar, from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn Maysarah, from Abu Burdah, who said: ‘Abdullah said: "That I should swear by Allah while lying is more beloved to me than that I should swear by other than Him while I am truthful."
