Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Abdullah ibn Kathir, that he heard a man ask Jabir ibn Zayd. He said: "I swore an oath, and something else is better than it." He said: "Expiate your oath and do that which is better."
